Zak Bagans and Holly Madison had an on-again-off-again relationship
Zak Bagans has led Ghost Adventures since the show’s debut, and for the last several years, he was tied to none other than Holly Madison. Rumors of romance first started swirling between these two after Madison allegedly visited his Haunted Museum in Vegas, and over the course of the following five years, the two would be together on and off. However, in 2025, Madison confirmed that the two had split for good on the Girls Next Level podcast.
“Yeah, it was very off and on for the course of the five-and-a-half years we were together,” said Holly, confirming that they had split up again. “We were very off and on for the past year, very much. So we broke up and I mean unfollowed on social media, which we’ve never unfollowed each other before through all the breakups.”
After opening up about this final split, Holly went on to share various posts on her Instagram story in the following months, revealing that she had learned of Bagans’ alleged infidelity. In her posts, she claimed that he had cheated on her with at least seven women during the time in which they were together.
Aaron Goodwin’s marriage to Victoria Goodwin took a dark turn
While Zak’s relationship with Holly may have ended on a messy note, his co-star, Aaron Goodwin, had an experience all his own. In March of 2025, Aaron’s wife Victoria was arrested when she was discovered to be involved in a murder-for-hire plot against her husband. Victoria’s plan was discovered after she began communicating with a Florida inmate she had learned about through a true crime documentary. Her communications with him were discovered when his phone was seized, and her messages revealing her plot to have her husband killed were uncovered.
“This has led me to fear for my life,” Aaron said at the court hearing in which his former wife received a sentencing of 36-90 months in prison. “I can’t trust anything anymore. I cry every day, I feel so alone. She turned me into a person I never was.”
Jay Wasley and Ashley Richardson’s marriage ended after a sinister investigation
Ghost Adventures’ Jay Wasley was married to Ashley Richardson, a set photographer on the show, but the dark nature of her former husband’s career ultimately took a toll on their marriage. As detailed in an episode of the Ghost Adventures spinoff Ghost Adventures: Screaming Room, Jay Wasley discussed the investigation of a haunted location, Goatman’s Bridge. According to his retelling, filming there was so intense that it resulted in Richardson stepping away from the show.
“My friend Ashley, who is Jay Wasley’s wife, have been separated ever since the Route 666 Halloween Investigation,” Zak Bagans explained in a Facebook post. “It is me who has to witness my friend who was attacked and is still dealing with an attachment and who has had to quit the show because of this.”
