Jack Osbourne Welcomes Baby Girl Named Ozzy After Her Legendary Rocker Grandfather
The reality star and his wife welcomed their second child together on March 5
The Osbourne family have endured their fair share of heartache over the last year with the passing of patriarch Ozzy Osbourne, but things have taken a celebratory turn with the birth of Jack Osbourne’s daughter, named after her late rock-legend grandfather. Ozzy Matilda Osbourne was born on March 5, weighing 7 pounds and 4 ounces to two thrilled parents. Jack Osbourne was already dad to four daughters, and this is he and his wife, Aree Gearhart’s, second child.

Jack Osbourne welcomes daughter Ozzy Osbourne
In a post shared to Instagram on March 11, Jack announced the birth of his daughter Ozzy—and the son of the rocker was met with lots of love in the comments. “The most perfect name she could have ever received!! Congratulations to you all…I am sure her birth is what everyone’s heart needed!!,” wrote one excited supporter. “Your dad sent her to earth-side for you and your family. I just know she was kissed and cuddled by your dad before she made it here,” shared another.
Jack revealed to The Sun back in December that he and his wife were expecting. “I think it’s been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing—probably in that kind of ‘full cycle’ category, in a weird way,” he shared. “It’s very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked in a bit more hopefulness.”

Before Jack Osbourne began his current chapter with his wife, designer Aree Gearhart, he was married to Lisa Stelly from 2012 to 2019. While together, they welcomed three daughters: Pearl Clementine Osbourne, Andy Rose Osbourne and Minnie Theodora Osbourne.
Despite their split in 2018, it seemed as though things ended on good terms. “We had seven beautiful years of being a couple, filled with the most amazing moments and we will be eternally grateful to one another for that,” they posted. “We also have three wonderful children who we cherish more than anything. We are disappointed but feel confident that we will continue to grow our relationship as co-parents and best friends.”
Jack later got together with Gearhart, and in 2022, they welcomed daughter Maple. They tied the knot in 2023 and seem to be thrilled at what this next chapter with baby Ozzy holds!
With five daughters to love and a family legacy to celebrate, the Osbourne clan has so much to look forward to. Baby Ozzy’s arrival reminds us that even in difficult times, new life brings fresh hope and endless joy.
