‘A Special Place in My Heart’: Meghann Fahy Talks ‘The White Lotus,’ New Rom Com and Reminisces About ‘The Bold Type’ (Exclusive)
Meghann Fahy details her favorite moments from ‘The White Lotus’ and what she loved about ‘The Bold Type’
Meghann Fahy has been on one wild ride since booking the role of the complex Daphne Sullivan on The White Lotus. The actress was already known for her roles in the soap opera One Life to Live, and The Bold Type, but it was the Mike White universe that pushed her career to the next level.
“I loved every moment of being able to dive into Daphne’s complexities,” Fahy confirmed. “It was just one of the best experiences I’ve had.”
Following her time on the drama series, Fahy’s career has skyrocketed, starring in the series The Perfect Couple (2024) and Sirens (2025), as well as the films The Unbreakable Boy (2025) and Drop (2025). She also has several projects in the works, such as the book-to-screen adaptation of the Sarah Hogle book, You Deserve Each Other.
Woman’s World had a chance to chat with Meghann Fahy about all of her iconic projects as well as her current partnership with Natural Bliss, the coffee creamer brand known for its four-ingredient dairy offerings.
Woman’s World: Let’s dive into your work. The Perfect Couple revolves around your character, Merritt Monaco, even though she’s dead just shortly into the series. Did it feel strange to have most of your scenes be filmed as flashbacks as opposed to present day?

Meghann Fahy: It’s interesting. It didn’t feel different, just because everything that preceded it happened right before you find out that she’s dead. It felt fluid while we were shooting it, which is a huge asset; I think it’s hard sometimes when it doesn’t feel that way. We filmed in Cape Cod, which is where I grew up going every summer with my family. So, it was so special to be shooting there, and I just loved it.
Woman’s World: Your character, Daphne, in The White Lotus was bubbly and positive on the outside, but deep down, she was a bit calculating. What was it like to portray that character and get inside of her mind?

Meghann Fahy: I loved every moment of being able to dive into Daphne’s complexities and the way that Mike [White] writes is so human and natural, that it really didn’t require much classic preparation the way that some roles do. I just saw her as such a human from the beginning, and I loved her so much and was rooting for her. I liked how many different facets of her personality Mike was willing to show, and it was just one of the best experiences I’ve had.
Woman’s World: You’ve starred alongside some incredible actors like Julianne Moore and Nicole Kidman. What has it been like to act in projects with veterans like them?
Meghann Fahy: I really didn’t get the chance to work with Nicole [Kidman] as much as I would have liked, but just being around her on set, she’s such a generous, down to Earth, wonderful woman. Seeing her in her own environment and the way she moves through the workspace was really incredible.
And Julianne [Moore], I did get to work with in a real capacity. I have loved her for so long, and she really exceeded any expectation that I had. She’s so smart and thoughtful and kind and accessible, and I just felt so grateful to get the chance to work with her at this point in my career. There’s just so much to learn from those women and I really was trying to soak everything up that I could from both of them.
I have so much respect for how they’ve moved through their careers and it’s really inspiring to me as an actress who’s nowhere near that place yet.
Woman’s World: The Bold Type was a personal favorite and obviously there are some loyal fans out there. What was your favorite part about being on that show?
Meghann Fahy: Just becoming sisters with Katie [Stevens] and Aisha [Dee]. I mean, we really were best friends and still are super close. That was the real takeaway, just going through that experience but having them to experience it with and being able to keep them after as family is something that I always will look back on and feel so lucky that that was true for us.
I think that’s why people who watched the show loved it so much, because you really could tell that the connection and the friendship and the love was genuine. It was real. So that show’s always going to have such a special place in my heart.
Woman’s World: Would you ever consider doing a reboot of The Bold Type?

Meghann Fahy: I am manifesting The Bold Type movie. I’m talking about it every time somebody asks and we really need to get that going. It would be so fun. It’s like Sex in the City the movie, but The Bold Type.
Woman’s World: You’re starring in the upcoming rom com film, You Deserve Each Other. What can you tell our readers about the project?
Meghann Fahy: I’m really excited about the rom com. It’s a genre that I’ve been a fan of for forever, so I really wanted to find one to do. And I was so lucky to get to work with Penn Badgley. He’s so wonderful and I’m so excited for people to see him in the movie because he’s so funny and the supporting cast is incredible. There are so many hilarious people in this film and I think it’s going to be a really fun one.
Woman’s World: Tell me a little bit about your partnership with Natural Bliss.
Meghann Fahy: Speaking of natural, the partnership is also natural. I’m a huge fan of the brand and I was before this even came about. I love that it only has four ingredients in it. I like to stay away from synthetic [ingredients] and messy ingredient lists, and I gravitated towards this because it’s not like that and you can taste [the difference].
I’m a big iced coffee drinker and my favorite classic flavor is vanilla because it tastes like vanilla ice cream. But they have some new amazing flavors, too—there’s a chai one that I’m kind of obsessed with. I’ve tried so many [different creamers] and I never stuck with any of them because eventually it has a weird aftertaste. Natural Bliss is the only creamer that I’ve come across so far that doesn’t do any of that.
Woman’s World: How does Natural Bliss elevate your everyday coffee routine?

Meghann Fahy: I’m somebody who goes to bed at night and gets excited about waking up and making coffee, so that’s the first thing I do every morning. I just love the ritual, whether I’m at my house or on set, that’s something that’s a staple for me. So, I love waking up and making my coffee and then deciding how I want the rest of my day to go.
And I have just found through the years, especially traveling so much, that taking that time in the morning to do something simple that I’m excited about and that tastes yummy, makes a huge difference in how the rest of my day goes. And Natural Bliss really elevates that morning routine.
