Great news, Dollywood fans! If you work in the public sector, you will have a chance to enjoy Dolly Parton’s famous Dolly amusement park at a special price this spring. The park’s Public Employee Appreciation Days are set to return, which means you can experience all of the thrills for less. Ready to take advantage of the limited-time deal? Keep reading to learn how to score the discounted Dollywood tickets this month, plus more on what to expect from this year’s seasonal festival.

Who qualifies for the discounted Dollywood tickets?

Every spring for the last 41 years, Dollywood has been offering public employees the chance to purchase discounted tickets to the park as a thank you for their service. Rather than shelling out for a $95 pick-a-day adult ticket, eligible guests can score a one-day admission for just $59. The best part? This discounted price applies for up to six one-day tickets, so you can save when you bring your family and friends along for a day of fun.

This special deal is typically offered to the following people:

  • First responders
  • Military members
  • Teachers
  • Government employees
  • Medical employees

How to claim your $59 Dollywood tickets

If you’re a public employee, you will be able to buy the discounted admission tickets starting Monday, April 13. The tickets for the discounted one-day admission must be purchased online at the Dollywood page for the Public Employee Appreciation Days.

One caveat: Qualifying guests must verify their employee status to be eligible for the special pricing. This needs to be done through the ID.me website to prove employment status. The digital identification verification platform allows a user to verify their identity by uploading government-issued photo IDs and taking selfies alongside identification.

The promotion runs through May 17, so you’ll have a little over a month to purchase the special tickets for your Dollywood visit this spring.

Hoping to come back to Dollywood this year? There will also be the option to upgrade to a 2026 season pass. Though there is an additional fee, public employees can snag a special rate during the promotion period and get $35 off their pass when they purchase it through the Public Employee Appreciation Days online page.
