This holiday season, your favorite networks are getting in on the Christmas fun with new and original heartwarming films—and Great American Family is no exception. Beginning on October 10, the network will be rolling out 18 original films for the holidays starring familiar faces in the Christmas entertainment realm including Candace Cameron Bure, Danica McKellar, Jill Wagner and countless others. The first film in this year’s lineup, A Second Chance Christmas, stars Bure alongside Jonathan Scarfe, and before it airs on Great American Family, you can catch it on Great American Pure Flix on October 8. This year, Great American Family is launching the Great American Christmas Movie Challenge, and for the first time, you could win thousands by entering! Between now and October 8, ahead of the first premiere, viewers can visit GreatAmericanFamily.com/Challenge. On the site, they will proceed to rank all 18 films in the 2026 lineup in the order in which they think folks will watch them most. For example, if you think folks are going to love Jill Wagner and Cameron Mathison’s A Very Arctic Christmas, put it at the top of your list. If you believe Britt Robertson and Ryan Paevey’s Christmas at Moose Lake is going to steal hearts, rank it higher.
When this year’s season comes to an end, the rankings will be revealed, and the person whose predictions were correct will win a $100,000 prize. If there’s no winner, the participant who had the most correct rankings will win $10,000.
