Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker and Paul Campbell have all shone individually on the Hallmark Channel, but it was back in 2022 when they put their talents together for the first time to bring to life Three Wise Men and a Baby. Now, three years after their initial debut, the trio is back for a third time on screens with the upcoming release of Three Wisest Men, premiering on November 15 at 8/7c. What is ‘Three Wisest Men’ about? Plot and holiday surprises
The newest film in the series follows Luke (played by Andrew Walker), Stephan (played by Paul Campbell) and Taylor (played by Tyler Hynes) yet again as they navigate all that the holiday season throws their way. Luke is ready to take on the next chapter of his life as he anticipates the arrival of his twins, Stephan is busy preparing for his wedding and Taylor is grappling with the possibility of a new job that would take him out of state. If that wasn’t enough on everyone’s plates, the Brenner brothers learn that their mother (played by Margaret Colin) is putting their childhood home up for sale. With the chaos of the holidays in full swing on top of what Luke, Stephan and Taylor are facing within their personal lives, the boys turn to each other for support during this season of change—and figure out how to make this Christmas their greatest one yet.
Who is starring in ‘Three Wisest Men’? Meet the returning cast
Fans can expect to see familiar faces at the helm of Three Wisest Men. The Brenner brothers will be making their return, with Tyler Hynes playing Taylor, Andrew Walker playing Luke and Paul Campbell playing Stephan. Returning as their mother is Margaret Colin. Fans can also expect to see Miles Marthaller return as Thomas, as well as Nicole Major as Sophie, Fiona Vroom as Susie and Erin Karpluk as Caroline.
Recap: What happened in the first two Brenner brothers movies?
In Three Wise Men and a Baby, the world was first introduced to the Brenner brothers, who are brought together when a baby is left at the firehouse where Luke works. Clueless when it comes to caring for the child, the trio are forced to put their skills together to keep him safe and happy while simultaneously strengthening their bond after a period of distance between the three of them. Despite a few mishaps, the unexpected gift of baby Thomas brings them together and opens their worlds in ways they never could have anticipated.
In the second film, Three Wiser Men and a Boy (2024), five years have passed since the first film, and baby Thomas, Luke’s adopted son, is now 5 years old. When the director of his school musical steps down, however, Luke, Stephan and Taylor step in to help. If that wasn’t enough on their plate, when their mom introduces her sons to her new boyfriend, they’re forced to deal with their complicated feelings about the matter.
