It’s Not Like That is almost here and you won’t want to miss it. Starring Scott Foley as Malcolm Jeffries and Erinn Hayes as Lori Soto, the show is the dose of hope everyone needs.

The description for It’s Not Like That reads: “Malcolm is a pastor and recently widowed dad of three. Lori is freshly divorced with two teens. Their families once did everything together, but now Malcolm and Lori must navigate their newly minted singledom, parenthood and the complexities of Malcolm being a modern-day pastor. Is this the beginning of a love story? It’s not like that. Or is it?”

The creators and showrunners, Deitchman and Robinson, spoke about the meaning behind the series.

It’s Not Like That is a story about hope, and finding light after loss, rebuilding families and exhibiting grace in the most uncertain circumstances,” the duo said in a press release. “There is a powerful dynamic around what we all choose to hold onto when everything around us is falling apart, and how we find our way back—something we hope audiences will relate to and love.”
