And Dairy Queen is kicking off the season with a bunch of exciting offers. Keep reading for more on how to snag can’t-miss deals on sweet treats at your fave DQ restaurant.

When is Dairy Queen Free Cone Day?

March 20 is not only the first official day of spring, it’s also Free Cone Day at participating DQ locations nationwide. As part of the annual event, you can grab a free small vanilla soft-serve cone complete with the signature DQ curl on top, per a press release

To find a nearby DQ taking part in the offer, visit DairyQueen.com or download the DQ App. The company also invites fans to share their Free Cone Day celebrations on social media tagging @DairyQueen and using #FreeConeDay.

And if you’re lucky, the free treats don’t end there. During the countdown to Free Cone Day, customers can download the DQ App and sign up for DQ Rewards to enter for a chance to win Free Cones for a Year!

DQ’s new springtime flavors

The DQ menu will also see some delicious new additions this season. Following the launch of the new Crunchin’ Cookie Dip Cone (vanilla soft serve dipped in a blue cone coating with chocolate cookie pieces), DQ is adding fan-created hacks to the menu and sharing how to get them for a limited time.

Crunchin’ Cookie Parfait is made with layers of DQ soft serve, Crunchin’ Cookie Cone Dip and Oreo pieces, while the Crunchin’ Cookie Blizzard Treat boasts the Crunchin’ Cookie cone coating and Oreo cookie pieces blended with soft serve to form a famous DQ Blizzard.

So whether you’re in it for the free cone, the new flavors or a shot at year-round sweet treats, Dairy Queen is making sure this spring starts on a delicious note!
