What’s new with Milano cookies?
Milano cookies have been on shelves for decades, with flavors ranging from classic dark chocolate and dark chocolate raspberry to milk chocolate and mint. But until now, there have been no white chocolate options.
If you’re not a fan of regular chocolate, these new Milano cookies are for you. White chocolate will be the filling between the buttery biscuit sandwich cookies, and the brand didn’t stop there. To take it up a notch, the new white chocolate Milanos will have a fruity twist, featuring three new flavors: strawberry, lemon and coconut.
“It’s no secret that our Milano cookie is one of the most iconic and beloved in the Pepperidge Farm portfolio. Now, we’re reimagining the classic with the introduction of Milano White Chocolate,” said Ama Auwarter, VP of bakery and cookies for Campbell Snacks. “Creamy white chocolate allows us to deliver more bright, vibrant flavor profiles for a first-of-its-kind Milano experience worth savoring.”

Fans react to the new white chocolate Milano cookies
Pepperidge Farm first announced the white chocolate cookie flavors on its Instagram with the caption, “Introducing the new Milano White Chocolate line. Delicious must-have cookies pairing premium white chocolate and vibrant fruit flavors.” And people couldn’t wait to try them.
“So excited for these, especially the Lemon White Chocolate,” one person wrote, while another said, “Can’t wait to try them all!”
While some people are thrilled by a fruity chocolate combo, others also hope for a plain white chocolate filling. “Would love a plain double white chocolate one!”
The new flavors are also appealing to non-chocolate lovers. “I bought all three today! Please never discontinue these as I’ve never had a Milano prior to today because I don’t like chocolate,” one person pleaded.
Lemon white chocolate may be the favorite
While fans are excited about all three Milano flavors, the lemon white chocolate seems to be pulling ahead.
In a January 11 Instagram post from food blogger Snackolator, they revealed all three flavors, plus their thoughts on the cookies.
“Don’t sleep on these new white chocolate Milano cookies—these are sneaky great! I had my doubts about white chocolate being used, but it works so well with the fruity flavors,” the caption read. “My personal favorite was lemon followed by strawberry, but these are all great additions. Thanks to @pepperidgefarm for the taste—these are a very nice surprise! You trying these?”
People in the comments agreed that lemon is the superior flavor. “Omg!!! Found them yesterday after seeing this post. The lemon white chocolate….amazing,” one person wrote. Another said, “Love the lemon!”
