Though there are so many emotional moments in a wedding ceremony–the bride’s walk down the aisle, the first kiss as a married couple–the most crucial is no doubt the vows. After all, the exchanging of those important words is the whole reason people are gathered, right?
Well, bride Tiffany Josh had no idea just how dramatic the vows at her wedding to Daniel Evans would be. Josh, a mother of three, had dealt with plenty of hardship after her first fiancé was killed while trying to stop a burglary in progress in 2011. Evans, who was just Josh’s friend back then, had helped her get through those dark times, and their relationship later turned romantic.
When the two finally were ready to promise forever to each other on their big day, nobody was expecting Evans to drop to his knees to also make a few promises to Josh’s three children. When he did, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Just watch.
