(Unless otherwise noted, deals are only offered on the holiday and apply to active-duty service members, as well).

Meals

Another Broken Egg Café

Free breakfast with a patriotic twist will be available for veterans. The special meal is a Patriotic French toast (topped with blueberries, strawberries and fresh whipped cream), as well as a Barista House Blend Coffee. A valid ID must be presented to take advantage of this dine-in-only offer.

Applebee’s

Veterans (as well as active duty military, reserves and National Guard) can enjoy a complimentary full-size entrée from a special menu. According to the company’s website, this will include an option of one of seven entrees: 6 oz. Top Sirloin, Classic Bacon Cheese Burger, Chicken Tenders Platter, Double Crunch Shrimp, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Oriental Chicken Salad and Three-Cheese Chicken Penne. The offer only stands for a dine-in meal.

Bob Evans

The restaurant will be offering a free comfort meal to veterans from a special menu for the holiday. Choose from 10 favorites like their Country Biscuit Breakfast, Down-Home Country-Fried Steak, Buttermilk Hotcakes and Mini Sampler. (Note: A beverage is not included and ID must be shown to enjoy).

Bonefish Grill

Seafood lovers will appreciate this deal! With valid ID, vets can munch on a complimentary order of their tasty Bang Bang Shrimp. Bonus: It comes with a soft beverage!

Buffalo Wild Wings

Veterans can dive into a hefty helping of wings on the holiday. This offer includes 10 free boneless wings and fries after presenting a valid ID. If ordering from a Buffalo Wild Wings GO location, the order must be placed at the counter.

California Pizza Kitchen

The company is offering the chance for vets to grab a slice thanks to a complimentary meal from a select menu. Plus, the deals continue between November 12 through November 25. During their Veterans Day meal, veterans will receive a BOGO offer to redeem for a pizza, pasta or salad on a future visit during that time frame.

Carraba’s

For veterans with a craving for Italian food, head over to Carraba’s. From November 8 through 10, they can get an entrée of equal or lesser value for free with the purchase of another entrée. This applies to both dine-in and take-home orders. Then on November 11, the company is offering a complimentary dine-in appetizer or dessert along with a nonalcoholic beverage.

Chili’s

On the holiday, Chili’s is expressing gratitude for veterans by offering a free meal (ID required). This is available for dine-in only on select items, and the company recommends contacting your local Chili’s restaurant with any questions.

Denny’s

Vets can enjoy a hearty breakfast at this family-friendly restaurant. Denny’s will be offering a free Original Grand Slam from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. This popular option includes two buttermilk pancakes, eggs, bacon strips and sausage links.

Friendly’s

With a visit to Friendly’s, veterans will receive a free All American burger with cheese and a beverage once they’ve shown military ID or an honorable discharge document. The meal is only available for an in-restaurant meal from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Golden Corral

In honor of the holiday, the restaurant chain will be hosting their Military Appreciation Night. From 5 p.m. to closing, vets will be treated to a free “thank you” meal when they dine in.

IHOP

Just like Another Broken Egg Café, IHOP wants to treat veterans with a special meal. At participating restaurants, they can get a free Red, White and Blueberry Pancake Combo from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Note: This offer is only for dining in at participating restaurants).

Olive Garden

As a thank you, the Italian restaurant chain is giving vets who dine in the chance to choose from a special menu. TheMilitaryWallet.com reports they can receive a complimentary entrée and choose from cheese ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs, fettuccine alfredo, chicken parmigiana or never-ending soup, salad and breadsticks.

Outback Steakhouse

One of Outback Steakhouse’s most popular offerings is their Bloomin’ Onion—and veterans can enjoy one free of charge (along with a beverage). An adult entrée just needs to be purchased in-restaurant first.

Red Lobster

With proof of ID, vets can take advantage of this seafood chain’s free Shrimp & Chip deal. The meal includes six of Walt’s Favorite Shrimp (served with ketchup and cocktail sauce) along with two sides: French Fries and coleslaw.

Texas Roadhouse

At participating locations, veterans can choose from a specific menu when they dine in the restaurant between 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Can’t make it? The company is also offering vouchers as an alternative that will be good for dine-in or carryout at a later time. Vouchers just need to be used by May 30, 2025.

White Castle

White Castle’s iconic sliders will be up for grabs for any interested vets. The chain is giving away a free individual combo meal or breakfast combo meal. The only caveat is it must be a dine-in experience at a participating restaurant.

One of the restaurant’s most famous menu options is their Pizookie: a large, freshly baked cookie topped with ice cream or other treats. Vets can indulge in the dessert when they dine in—no minimum purchase required! They will also receive a bounce back coupon (good for dine in or take out) for a free appetizer. This is valid between November 12 and December 31, 2024.

Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen

Veterans can receive a complimentary dessert during a visit to the restaurant chain, which boasts options like cheesecake, carrot cake, monster cookies and hot fudge sundae cake on its menu. Not much of a sweet tooth? They can choose the option for a free appetizer instead.

Dunkin’

Stopping at a local Dunkin’ can get vets a delicious free donut (while supplies last). One note: The offer is only available in-store and can not be redeemed via “On-the-Go” mobile ordering on the Dunkin’ app.
