K’la Inman Is Helping Parents and Their Kids Trade Hopscotch for Hollywood

Children show their talents and abilities from an early age, and sometimes they become a source of entertainment for more than just the parents and family. Children’s fulfilled desire for the spotlight and cameras cannot be overlooked.

That’s why parents strive to make their little stars’ dreams come true by trying to get into the entertainment industry on their own, but many aren’t sure where to start.

K’la Inman is a talent consultant who directs parents on how to make their child’s dream a reality in a safe and healthy way. With her expertise and insider knowledge of the industry, her goal is to make the entertainment industry more accessible and less intimidating for those who have a genuine desire to pursue a career in acting or modeling by putting their interests first.

“I have a background in acting and modeling, and I know what kind of things can happen in that world,” explains K’la. “That’s why I have the desire to prevent scams and fake auditions.”

K’La’s business was born from her own experience with people who didn’t have integrity and didn’t care about her dreams. So, she launched her consulting business to help parents and children who express interest in these two industries.

She has been successful in getting hundreds, if not thousands, of kids signed to modeling agencies and booked for acting roles by educating their parents.

“I’m giving those parents and kids something I’ve never come across in modeling and acting industries – integrity and honesty,” explains K’la Inman.

She is big on educating people and spreading information parents want to know. If anything, no parent wants their child to go unprotected.

“There’s a lack of education among people. That’s why my business is based on providing proper education through our courses, which last less than 60 minutes,” says K’la.

Parents who are trying to find a way for their kids to break into the modeling and acting industries represent 97% of her clientele. K’la’s passion is to help parents support their kids in achieving their dreams.

“They’ve probably had some dreams when they were younger, but they didn’t have the information they needed,” K’la says, “that’s why this business model is aimed completely at kids.”

K’la Inman’s business offers a solution to this ‘lack of education’ obstacle. It’s about a VIP program that guides parents, as she says, “from A to Z,” in addition to free teaching courses which she shares through live videos on her Instagram.

“I’m giving them a step-by-step explanation. What they should be doing, how to get started, or what to stay away from, when to go to the set, etc.,” explains K’la. “Also, it steers people away from scams which is very important, especially when it comes to payment.”

From her personal experience, K’la points out that most misunderstandings and obstacles occur when money is paid in advance.

“For example, those parents don’t know that agents and managers do not get paid upfront,” she says. “If they are paying something, they need to know why which is often not explained to them.”

“First lesson: Investing in something without proper research can lead to disappointment,” says K’la Inman. “I don’t want them to throw away money blindly. In my business case: I’d rather not have their money if they are skeptical about my program.”

“This is why I encourage everyone to learn and do their research,” she explained. “Use your knowledge to help your child fulfill their potential and reach their goals.”

Her programs offer a long list of assistance to clients, but K’la wants to ensure that clients have done their research and believe in what she does.  First things first, she wants parents to understand the needs of their children.  Once you feel comfortable with that, making sense of this program and working together will only help bring their children’s dreams to life.
