Apricot-Glazed Chicken Breasts Recipe Makes Dinnertime Extra Delicious
Apricot preserves, soy sauce and rosemary give chicken breasts a sweet and savory upgrade
When I’m wondering what to make for dinner, I often opt for chicken. It’s so versatile, plus it’s easy and quick to make. And chicken is a good source of high-quality protein. But poultry can be a little bland on it’s own, so livening it up with a delicious sauce or glaze is key. That’s what inspired this Apricot-Glazed Chicken Breasts recipe. It’s packed with sweet and savory flavor and the chicken turns out moist and juicy.
The trick to cooking chicken is to sear the meat at medium-high heat on both sides. Next, for our yummy glaze, we start with jarred fruit preserves. We used apricot here, but you can sub in any favorite you like. During cooking, the glaze combines with juices from the bird to create a delicious pan sauce.
