A double dose of tangy orange and rich ganache frosting turns plain cake mix into a company-special delight.
- 1 (15.25 oz.) pkg. chocolate fudge cake mix
- 1 1/4 c. orange juice
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 tsp. grated orange zest
- 1 1/2 c. mini semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 c. heavy cream
- Orange zest curls (optional)
Heat oven to 350°F. Coat 12-cup bundt pan with baking spray with flour. On low speed, beat cake mix, juice, eggs, oil, and zest 30 sec.; on medium speed, beat 2 min. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips. Transfer to pan. Bake 30–40 min., until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool 20 min. Transfer to rack; cool.
In microwave-safe bowl, combine cream and remaining chocolate chips. Microwave in 15-sec. intervals until chocolate softens, stirring. Let stand 2 min. Whisk until smooth. Pour over cake. Garnish with orange curls.
