Kelly Senyei has been creating and sharing recipes on her site, Just a Taste for more than 15 years. And her simple solution for leftover stuffing is genius! Kelly Senyei’s Stuffing Waffles recipe creates just the right ratio of crispy-to-tender bits to make these savory bites irresistible.
Reinventing a flavorful holiday side with just 3 ingredients is so satisfying. And since I’ve always been partial to the crispy parts of stuffing, I just had to try Kelly Senyei’s Stuffing Waffles recipe. I like it for an open-faced sandwich topped with sliced turkey and leftover gravy.
One tip Kelly shares if you’re making your stuffing from scratch: This recipe works best with more traditional stuffings that don’t include large pieces of vegetables or meats, such as sausage.

Prep Time
Ingredients
- 4 cups crumbled leftover stuffing, warmed slightly
- 2 large eggs
- Chicken broth or turkey stock, as needed
- Cranberry sauce and leftover gravy, for serving
Instructions
PrintHeat a waffle maker and coat grates with cooking spray. In large bowl, stir together leftover stuffing and eggs. Add 1⁄4 cup chicken broth and mix until well-combined. Continue adding chicken broth as needed until the mixture is well-moistened and scoopable.
Scoop half of the stuffing mixture into the prepared waffle maker, spreading evenly. (Stuffing will not spread or expand like regular waffle batter as it bakes, so it’s important to arrange it in an even, thin layer.) Close lid and let waffle bake until golden brown and eggs are fully cooked.
Transfer cooked waffle to serving plate then repeat filling and cooking process with remaining stuffing. Serve waffles with leftover cranberry sauce and leftover gravy.
