Salted Caramel Peach Shortcakes

Our test kitchen director tossed peaches in prepared caramel sauce for decadent flavor with minimal work.

  • 4 large ripe peaches, sliced
  • ⅛ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 3 Tbs. salted caramel sauce, such as Smucker’s
  • 1 (20 oz.) pkg. all-purpose baking mix, such as Bisquick
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped


  1. Heat oven to 425°F. In bowl, combine peach slices, cinnamon and salted caramel sauce.
  2. Prepare shortcakes as baking mix package directs for strawberry shortcakes. Divide into 8 mounds on baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 min. or until done.
  3. Slice top third off warm biscuits. Divide peaches and sauce evenly among biscuits. Dollop with cream. Cover with tops. Serve immediately.
