This Frozen Cucumber Margaritas Recipe Makes Any Day Feel Like a Celebration

A genius swap for ice cubes makes this frosty drink extra flavorful!

Nothing is more refreshing than a slushy — and this Cucumber Margaritas recipe fits the bill. The frosty cocktail uses English cucumbers, which are sweeter than regular varieties, and blends it with lemon sorbet, lime juice and other ingredients. Cucumber vodka along with silver tequila provide the drink with contrasting smooth and smoky flavors. However, you can substitute mezcal for tequila as it’s a similar alcohol that boasts an even smokier taste. (Here’s more on using mezcal in cocktails.)

The secret that makes this drink extra special? Frozen cucumber cubes are used in place of ice when blending. This keeps the batch of margaritas chilled so they don’t become watery and lose their flavor. If you want to reduce the calories, opt for a low-sugar lemon sorbet.
