My favorite pairing is chocolate and peanut butter. Each ingredient is delicious on it’s own … put them together and you’ve got an amazing treat that satisfies your every craving. That’s why I was so excited when our test kitchen came up with this peanut butter parfaits recipe. The moment I dug into it, I was hooked. There’s sweet, salty, chocolatey and peanut buttery goodness in every bite, and the parfaits are rich, creamy and decadent. Truly, it’s a dream come true. Even better: Each individual parfait is topped with whipped cream and a peanut butter cup!
This delicious dessert preps in just 15 minutes (it’s super simple), and you only need five ingredients to make it. Consider it the perfect dessert for those days or nights when you need something delightful that you can whip up at home in a snap. It does need to chill in the fridge for a while, so just make it before dinner, and by the time you’re ready for dessert — it’s ready for you!

- 1 (3.9 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups + 2 Tbs. milk
- ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 2 Tbs. sugar
- Sprinkles and peanut butter cups (optional)
Instructions
PrintPrepare pudding mix per package directions with 2 cups milk. Transfer 3⁄4 cup pudding to bowl; whisk in peanut butter and 2 Tbs. milk.
On medium-high, beat cream and sugar until stiff; fold 11⁄2 cups into peanut butter mixture. Divide half among 6 (6 oz.) glasses. Top with chocolate pudding mixture then remaining peanut butter mixture. Transfer remaining cream to pastry bag fitted with star tip. Pipe on top. Cover; chill 1 hr. If desired, add garnishes.
