About Bath & Body Works’ zodiac scent collection
Just in time for holiday shopping, Bath & Body Works has released a zodiac collection with fragrance mists inspired by each astrological sign. The 8-oz. bottles ($18 each) are covered in a dreamy blue star-covered label and feature the symbols for each sign. You’ll also spy two positive traits on the label for each sign, guaranteed to elicit a smile each time the wearer spritzes the fragrance.
For example, the Virgo bottle features the traits “dependable” and “loyal”, while the Aries label showcases the words “bold” and “confident”.
Whether you’re looking to buy for yourself or gift one to the Libra or Capricorn in your life, each playful scent is designed to be personalized for each astrological sign.
Fans guess the Bath & Body Works zodiac scents
When rumors of the zodiac collection swirled on Reddit, Bath & Body Works fans shared their own guesses as to what each sign should smell like. We rounded up some of the best suggestions and funniest takes!
- Aries: “Knowing our traits it’s always something spicy,” shared a shopper. “A nice floral blend would be nice as Aries season is typically when spring is bursting in bloom. But who am I kidding, it’ll be something drenched in cinnamon. (That I will probably buy…)”
- Taurus: “I thought maybe Emerald Mist as many Taurus babies are born in May and Emerald is May’s birthstone,” guessed one person.
- Gemini: “Gemini is always citrus,” replied a commenter. “I’m ok with that. I don’t like food smells.”
- Cancer: “Can’t wait to see another ocean fragrance for Cancer,” someone answered sarcastically. “Ocean for the water crab sign is about as original as florals for spring. I’d love to see something comforting or homey smelling. Maybe even super feminine?”
- Leo: “I’d love something sweet, mysterious and a little spicy for Leo instead of the bright citrus,” reflected a shopper.
- Virgo: “It will definitely be ‘old book pages and a cup of warm tea’ for sure,” a Reddit user joked.
- Libra: “Really hoping they go sweet/sugary/juicy for libra & not powdery-floral,” suggested a shopper. “For some reason, every Libra-scented thing is either rose or patchouli in my experience.”
- Scorpio: “My problem is I’m a Scorpio and I bet it’s going to be all dark and moody and patchouli, where I’m a sweetie cupcake vanilla girl,” said a fan.
- Sagittarius: “I’m hoping something smoky and/or spicy since you know, adventurous fire sign,” replied a commenter.
- Capricorn: “Everyone seems to think we’re boring and love smelling like plants and dirt,” quipped one person.
- Aquarius: “Aquarius is probably gonna be some clean-aqua scent,” shared a shopper. “I wish my sign was more playful instead of blues and water.”
- Pisces: “I hope Pisces doesn’t smell too much like the beach scents but I’m not sure what else they’d make it,” pleaded a commenter.

B&BW’s past zodiac-inspired products

This isn’t the first time Bath & Body Works has launched astrology-inspired products. Long-time fans may recall snatching up candles from around 2018 and 2019 dedicated to each of the zodiac signs.
Not only were there tiny single-wick candles available, but also larger options labeled water, fire and earth. Each of the soy wax and essential oil candles had its own unique scent, plus beautiful constellation designs on the jars.
Perfume sprays were also a big hit in the 1990s and customers still remember them fondly to this day. In fact, several on Reddit said they hope this new zodiac collection is as good as the initial release. A Pinterest post shows what the Sagittarius bottle looked like under the Star Scents line, and we love the nostalgia.
Now that the exciting new collection has finally launched, here’s hoping every sign is happy with their scent!
