Lauren Stachiw is a journalist and the former Beauty Director at Woman’s World magazines and websites. She has covered beauty and fashion for over 10 years. She served as co-editor-in-chief of three special interest publications: Look Great Over 50, The Most Effective Ways to Reverse Thinning Hair and Beautiful Nails. Her writing has also appeared in Closer Weekly, InTouch Weekly and Life&Style magazines, where she covered fashion and beauty topics and trends centered around celebrities of all ages. Stachiw graduated from the University of Missouri‘s Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia, Missouri, where she received a Bachelor in Journalism with an emphasis in magazine editing and a certificate in multicultural studies. While in college, she was a writer for the Columbia Missourian newspaper, interned at ALIVE Magazine, a local St. Louis city magazine, and wrote for various online beauty blogs. She is currently based in St. Louis and when she’s not working, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her husband, Michael, sons, Mikey and Freddy, and two Scottish Fold cats, Mercer and Nigel.
