Rebecca Yarros’ Fourth Wing is officially being brought to life, thanks to the leading games and toy company Hasbro. The #1 New York Times bestselling author and company announced the new game Priorities Fourth Wing Edition in July of this year, and now, months later, Yarros is exclusively revealing her top five “priorities” with Woman’s World readers.
“This game is for the readers who’ve stayed up way too late with these books and still want more,” said Rebecca Yarros in a release. “Priorities Fourth Wing Edition is a way to dive back into the world with your favorite people and see just how well they really know you.”

What is ‘Fourth Wing’ about?
Yarros’ Empyrean series—a.k.a the Fourth Wing series— is made up of three books: Fourth Wing, Iron Flame and Onyx Storm. The hit series is being made into a show, thanks to Amazon MGM Studios and Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society. The show will stream on Prime Video, but there hasn’t been any information about when fans can expect it to be released.
The first book, Fourth Wing, was published in April 2023. The book was an instant hit, taking the title of Amazon best seller by late June and spending 65 weeks on The New York Times Best Seller list by August 2024.
Fourth Wing follows twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail, the youngest daughter of General Lilith Sorrengail, who leads the Basgiath War College in Navarre. Students can choose to join one of four military branches: Infantry, Healer, Scribe or Rider.
Violet is set to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a simple life among books and history, until her mother orders her to join the other candidates striving to become Riders. Riders have the dangerous task of bonding to a dragon to protect the kingdom. Dragons prey on “fragile” humans, so Violet must use her wits to survive.
With more cadets than dragons, Violet is also challenged by others in her quadrant who could kill her to increase their chances of succeeding. As Violet fights for her spot, the war outside grows deadlier, and while the death toll rises and the kingdom’s protective wards fail, Violet begins to suspect leadership is hiding a terrible secret.
What to know about the ‘Fourth Wing’ game
Priorities Fourth Wing was created in close collaboration with Yarros and will deliver an authentic and immersive experience for Fourth Wing fanatics. The game is designed to bring fans together and “engage with the world and characters they love,” said a release.
Priorities Fourth Wing aims to spark conversation and debate among players, making it an ideal addition for gatherings of Fourth Wing enthusiasts.
Rebecca Yarros shares her top five ‘Fourth Wing’ priorities
In a newly released video, revealed exclusively by Woman’s World, Yarros shared that her top five cards were the Reading in The Archives Card, the Chosen Family card, the Squabbling with Tarin card, the Getting Wrapped in Xaden’s Shadows card and the Violet Sorrengail card.
