The bestselling romantasy author is releasing a new line of A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR) merch just in time for the release of the highly anticipated sixth and seventh books. For more on the merch and  when you can get your hands—or bat wings–on it, keep reading.

What we know so far about the ‘ACOTAR’ merch

On Tuesday, May 18, Chronicle Books announced they are partnering with Maas for a collection of products inspired by her hit series ACOTAR.

“We are so excited to immerse readers deeper into the world of Sarah J. Maas with unique, must-have gifts,” Christina Amini, Publisher of Gift at Chronicle Books, said in a statement. “Our aim is to extend the experience for fans everywhere.”

The line includes a 1,000-piece puzzle featuring Velaris (the main city in the series), a Seven Courts of the Faerie Realm 1,000-piece puzzle, a deck of woulds or rathers, a playing card set, notecards and a sketchbook, which will let users “Sketch, draw and dream like Feyre Archeron.”

Prices for these products range anywhere from $15 to $25 and you can preorder them on Amazon or Bookshop.org, but they won’t be shipped until October 6, 2026.

“Maas’ ACOTAR series exploded in popularity in 2015 and went on to effectively transform the fantasy genre, captivating millions with richly immersive worlds, complex characters and heart-pounding plots,” reads the press release. “As Maas’ new books in the series are released, Chronicle Books’s ACOTAR gift products will support, delight and entertain all those with imaginations dedicated “to the stars who listen and the dreams that are answered.”

‘ACOTAR 6 and 7’ details

As mentioned above, these products are perfectly timed for the releases of ACOTAR 6 and 7, which Maas announced on Alex Cooper’s podcast Call Her Daddy earlier this year. Maas hasn’t released many  details on the plots, covers or titles, but she did say book six will be released on October 27, followed by book 7 on January 12, 2027.

“So there’s gonna be a lot of ACOTAR in a very short time. And then eventually the conclusion will be written,” Maas continued. “I don’t want anyone to wait any longer. But it’s different. It’s ACOTAR, but I’m just telling it in a way that’s exciting to me and gives me the space that the story demanded and the characters demanded.”

“I’m not gonna reveal any more about it, because there might be more about that,” Maas added. “Everything is possible.”

A look back at all the ‘ACOTAR’ books

There are currently five books in the ACOTAR series. The first three—A Court of Thorns and Roses, A Court of Mist and Fury and A Court of Wings and Ruin—follow Feyre Archeron after she is transported to Prythian, a magical, faerie-run world. Then comes book 4, A Court of Frost and Starlight, which is narrated by Feyre, her mate Rhysand, her friend Cassian and her sister Nesta.

Finally, there’s book 5, A Court of Silver Flames, which follows Nesta and Cassian as they fight evil forces and their feelings for each other.

“What Nesta feels in that book, I wrote that as I was going through therapy and I remember the exact moment when I came up with the idea for the scene where she and Cassian are taking that hike and she just breaks down because that was me in New Zealand with Josh [her husband] at my lowest on a hike thinking the same thing,” Maas revealed on the Call Her Daddy podcast. “That all came out of me, and so where she is at the end, she’s not perfect, she’s not healed. She’s still a work in progress, but she was in a hole. I was in a hole and we dug our way out of it together.”

Nesta appeared again in the third book in Maas’ bestselling series Crescent City, and her storyline in that novel could potentially impact the plot of ACOTAR 6 and 7, but that has yet to be confirmed by the author.
