Meet The Spouses and Significant Others of the ‘CIA’ Cast: Tom Ellis, Nick Gehlfuss and More

In just a couple of weeks, the spinoff of FBI, CIA, will premiere and introduce an entirely new cast of agents. Starring Tom Ellis and Nick Gehlfuss, CIA will follow their unlikely partnership as they work to prevent terrorism in New York City.
The series plot reads: “When by-the-book FBI Special Agent Bill Goodman (Nick Gehlfuss) is loaned out to a clandestine CIA/FBI task force, he finds himself teamed up with secretive and roguish CIA case officer Colin Glass (Tom Ellis). Together they will work on covert operations in New York, uncovering international plots, terrorist cells and geopolitical secrets. On CIA, Bill will learn the rules of this murky world on the fly as Colin leads him deeper into spy games where only one thing is clear–their work keeps America safe, even if no one will ever know what they did in the shadows.”
But when they’re not chasing leads and bickering with one another, the stars of CIA are involved in their own real-life relationships. From divorces to private marriages to second chance romances, meet the spouses and significant others of the cast.
Tom Ellis and Tamzin Outhwaite
Tom Ellis and his first wife, actress Tamzin Outhwaite, were introduced to each other by mutual friend, actor James Mcavoy, in 2005. Ellis and Outhwaite tied the knot after just one year of dating in 2006.
While married, the couple welcomed two daughters together: Florence in 2008 and Marnie in 2012. But a year after their second child was born, they split up in 2013. Their divorce was finalized in 2014.
“I was surrounded by this notion of how it [marriage] should be,” Ellis shared. “When it didn’t work out like that, I realized I still existed and breathed. I still was a person, I still had things to offer. I had to be open and honest about my failings in order to move forward.”
Tom Ellis and Meaghan Oppenheimer
A year after his divorce, Ellis met his soon-to-be second wife, Meaghan Oppenheimer—who is the creator of Hulu’s Tell Me Lies—and the two began dating. After about two years, Ellis and Oppenheimer got engaged, announcing it on Instagram in March of that year, writing, “does this ring make me look fat??”
In June 2019, the couple walked down the aisle. For the wedding, they requested that guests donate to the nonprofit Planned Parenthood as opposed to bringing a gift for the happy duo.
Ellis and Oppenheimer welcomed their first child together, daughter Dolly, on November 8, 2023, via surrogacy. Dolly is Ellis’ fourth child, following his two children with Outhwaite and his first daughter Nora, whom he had with a previous partner.
Nick Gehlfuss and Lilian Matsuda
It’s not publicly known when Nick Gehlfuss met his now-wife, Lilian Matsuda, but it’s said that their first meeting was on a set. Although the couple maintains a fairly private life together, Gehlfuss did reveal in press for Chicago Med that they married on May 13, 2016, in a large Ohio ceremony.
“I wanted to invite a lot of my castmates, but, because we’re a franchise, I would have had to invite the entire Chicago franchise,” he shared. “I started on P.D. and I went to Fire, and now with Justice, it would have been crazy.”
The couple welcomed two children together since they wed. Their names are not available to the public but the first was born in 2021, followed by their second in 2024.
Natalee Linez and Brandeaux Tourville
Natalee Linez, who will portray CIA Analyst Gina Rojas, has been in a relationship for about three years. She and boyfriend Brandeaux Tourville met via Instagram DM, initiated by Tourville. They have worked to navigate their long-distance relationship, with Linez sharing details online.
The couple frequently posts photos of each other on social media with Tourville posting for their two year anniversary on August 27, 2024.
Necar Zadegan
The actress who will portray Chief of Station Nikki Reynard, Necar Zadegan, is seemingly not in a relationship, though she keeps her personal life private.
