Sklenar’s girlfriend, Courtney Salviolo, is a personal trainer and nutritionist, and they met on Hinge back in 2020. The actor told Entertainment Tonight, “I actually met my partner on a dating app. I didn’t have Facebook. I wasn’t a phone app guy.”

“It was right when COVID happened… How am I going to meet somebody? I was like, ‘Oh I’ll get on this…’ I think it was Hinge,” he continued.

Since then, the two have been going strong. For the most part, they keep their relationship private, but Sklenar has talked about their time together, telling Forbes, “I had actually just finished filming the first part of 1923. It was very intense and I was away from home for about five months. It was the first time I had done something like that, where I was gone for that long. It was really jarring because we were in Africa, so you’re 9 to 11 hours ahead and you can’t really communicate with anybody and we shot six days a week. “I’m eternally grateful for it for the rest of my life, but it was emotionally challenging. I’m a home body— I love to be home with my partner and my dog and my house. The irony is I have a job that takes me everywhere, which I love, too. It’s a weird dichotomy.”

Still, their relationship isn’t immune to online chatter—especially after Sklenar appeared in a group photo with Salviolo, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds at the It Ends With Us premiere in August 2024. Some fans said Sklenar looked anxious in the photo, fueling speculation about how comfortable he was bringing his girlfriend into the spotlight.

“I’m a private person and very protective over my home life outside of this world. It’s a vulnerable moment knowing the person I love is about to be under the same microscope I am,” Sklenar explained, per Brit + Co. “Especially when their career is very far from this industry. My face reflects anxiety…Please be kind and I hope you see this film.”

Does Brandon Sklenar have kids?

Sklenar doesn’t have any kids, but he and Salviolo do share a dog named Remy, which Salviolo had before she even met the actor.

“This little guy has been my lifeline for the past 10+ years. When I started experiencing chronic pain I felt defeated and lost. Remy stuck right by my side through every pain spell,” Salviolo wrote on Instagram in June 2022. “Will forever recommend an animal for added support during a healing process, or lifestyle transition. Dogs not only give you unconditional love, but they get you moving!”
