Tammy Slaton’s Girlfriend Andrea Dalton Is Now Her Fiancée—Inside Their Love Story

In 2020, the world first got to know Tammy Slaton and her sister Amy when they made their debut on the TLC reality show 1000-lb Sisters. Since the series aired, the duo have both experienced dramatic weight losses, expanding families, and finding their forever—and it seems as though Tammy Slaton couldn’t be happier about this next chapter in her life, having recently announced her engagement to her partner Andrea Dalton. Tammy Slaton’s engagement to Andrea Dalton
During a recent appearance on the Creative Chaos Podcast, the reality television star opened up about her engagement when she referred to Andrea as her fiancee. When host Hunter Ezell asked her what she did during her time off when she wasn’t filming for the show, she responded that she and her fiancee “just kind of chill at home.” Ezell was quick to catch that special title she gave Andrea, but let her continue to share what her day-to-day looked like as she spent time with her bride-to-be. “We go to Walmart and just walk around or Roses, somewhere like that, not to buy just to walk around, get some exercise, something to do.”
While on the podcast, Tammy was sporting a necklace that read “Andrea,” as well as an engagement ring on her finger—and her body language made it clear that she couldn’t be happier about what this next chapter holds! Tammy went on to share that she and Andrea have been together for about three years now, but this isn’t the first time fans have heard about her relationship. During Season 7 of 1000-lb Sisters, fans got to see the development of Andrea and Tammy’s relationship, and Dalton got candid about their relationship on an episode of the show.
“Tammy and I met on a dating app. I had just got on there, I wasn’t on there very long, and I saw her and she saw me and we just started talking,” Andrea explained. “And it’s been like every day since.” Since Tammy and Andrea have gone public with their relationship, Tammy can often be seen showing off their love on social media, sharing the fun moments and exciting adventures they experience with one another on TikTok.
Tammy was previously married to her husband, Caleb Willingham, who tragically died after they had been married for six months.
‘1000-lb Sisters’ Season 8 holds a lot of change for Tammy
On January 6, the eighth season of 1000-lb Sisters will premiere on TLC, and while we now know that Tammy and Andrea are engaged, based on the show’s trailer, it looks like viewers will get a peek on the moments leading up to it. “Kinda wonder if she’s gonna ask me to marry her,” Tammy says. Additionally, it seems like the new season will showcase some exciting changes in other areas of Tammy’s life as well, as she’s seen pursuing a new job, saying, “I’m just kinda starting to figure out what I want to do in life.” Tune in to see Tammy’s next chapter on January 6.
