Uma Thurman, 55, is an actress who’s as versatile as they come, and in addition to knocking nearly every performance she gives out of the park, one of her most beloved roles is that of “Mom” to her three children Maya, Levon and Luna. “I feel very lucky in my children, just because I am,” Thurman told Romper last year. “That’s the part of my life in which I’ve been the luckiest. But I think, as a friend of mine said to me, ‘Parenting is not a sprint, it’s a marathon.’ I think they knew I was desperately, anxiously trying to do the best job I could. I really came into parenting with a sprinter mentality, and over time, I’ve definitely gotten to see the marathon and to see things add up into strong, brave, independent adults. Maya Hawke
Thurman’s eldest daughter, Maya, 27, whom she shares with actor Ethan Hawke, is someone you’ve probably seen on your screen before, as her role in Netflix’s Stranger Things has put her on the map over the last several years. Twenty-six-year-old Hawke made her television debut in a 2017 television adaptation of Little Women, where she brought to life the iconic role of Jo March, and after that, the roles continued coming. She appeared in 2019’s Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood and made her Stranger Things debut the same year when she brought to life the part of Robin, a now beloved member of the Hawkins crew.
Since her breakout role in the supernatural series, Hawke has appeared in films like Do Revenge (2022), Asteroid City (2023), Maestro (2023) and more. In addition to acting, Hawke is also a successful musician, showing her skills in songs like “Therese,” “To Love a Boy” and countless others.
Levon Thurman-Hawke
Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke’s son Levon, 23, is also making himself known in Hollywood, much like his sister Maya. At 23 years old, the young thespian is only just getting started in the industry, but he’s been putting in the work to prove that he’s more than just Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke’s son. Levon can be seen in the mini-series The Crowded Room, as well as in films like Wildcat (2023), Blink Twice (2024) and The Thicket (2024). Recently, it was announced that he would be joining the cast of Ibsen’s Ghosts at Lincoln Center Theater alongside Lily Rabe and Hamish Linklater.
Luna Thurman-Busson
The youngest of Uma Thurman’s children is her daughter Luna, 13, whom she shares with former partner Arpad Busson. As a youngster, Luna stays largely out of the limelight, not much is known about her, but if she’s anything like her mom or siblings, then we wonder if showbiz is in her future! Her full name is Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson—Does it get more Hollywood than that?!
