Sofia’s Crawling! Ree Drummond’s Granddaughter Reaches Adorable 10-Month Milestone
Alex shares the sweetest update on baby Sofia—and these milestone moments will absolutely melt you
It’s hard not to fawn over Ree Drummond’s adorable granddaughter, Sofia. While it’s been 10 months since the Pioneer Woman’s daughter Alex and her husband Mauricio welcomed the little bundle of joy, the excitement and bliss she brings to her family hasn’t dwindled in the slightest. A few days back, Alex took to Instagram to share her monthly update on baby Sofia, and fans can’t believe this little bundle of joy is already 10 months old!

g her hair to the side and matching pink socks, Sofia knows what she’s doing when it comes to striking a pose. “I can’t handle the baby jeans,” Alex captioned one of her photos. “A couple weeks late on the 10m pictures but better late than never,” she shared in the next one.
Baby Sofia is growing and experiencing new things every day
The last few months have held a ton of adventure for the littlest member of Ree Drummond’s crew. In addition to the jet setting this little cutie has been doing, she’s been hitting some of her most memorable milestones. A few weeks ago, Alex shared a clip to Instagram showcasing Sofia in motion. “Why does this make me so emotional,” Alex wrote in the caption. “Took almost 10 months but homegirl is on the MOVE!!”
In the video, Sofia’s irresistible arm and leg rolls are on full display as she crawls across the floor, her mom proudly beaming at her progress. It isn’t long before Sofia reaches her destination, grabbing for her mom’s phone, and the comments were full of love and support for this exciting chapter.
“My beautiful Sofia,” wrote Ree Drummond. “Oh girl, buckle up! It’s an amazing journey,” shared one fan. “Sofia is absolutely the cutest! I can’t wait to see the shenanigans she gets into now that she’s on the move,” commented another fan.
Sofia heads to the big city
In addition to crawling, laughing and growing, Sofia has also been all over the place. In addition to traveling to visit her grandma, Ree, at her ranch, the little one recently tagged along on the Pioneer Woman’s trip to New York City to promote her latest book, The Essential Recipes. Little Sofia took over the Big Apple alongside her mom, grandmother, great grandmother, her aunts Paige and Betsy and some special friends, and her trip looked to be full of adventure and memories. “Sofia’s first girls’ trip!!!! The sweetest week in the big city with my favorite people,” Alex wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.
From first crawls to first NYC adventures, Sofia’s bringing so much love and laughter to the Drummond family—and we can’t wait to see what precious moments she reaches next! These early months fly by so fast, and it’s beautiful watching Alex treasure every single milestone with her little one.
