The former Beatle is hitting the road once again on a headlining tour throughout North America. Here, everything we know about this exciting venture, where you can catch him on stage and when you can purchase tickets!

All about Paul McCartney’s 2025 ‘Got Back’ Tour

Earlier today, Paul McCartney announced that he would be embarking on a continuation of the “Got Back” Tour. Back in 2022, the 83-year-old superstar traveled throughout North America, followed by legs in South America, Europe and Australia. Now, he’s right back where he started, playing 19 shows across the United States and Canada. “Following Paul’s historic three-night stand at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom earlier in 2025, the acclaimed ‘Got Back’ Tour will make its wildly anticipated return to North America,” said McCartney’s website.

On September 19, the tour will kick off in Palm Desert, Calif., followed by shows in Las Vegas, Albuquerque, N.M. and Denver. Other stops throughout the United States include Des Moines, Iowa, Minneapolis, Minn., Tulsa, Okla., New Orleans, Atlanta, Ga., Nashville, Columbus, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Pa., Buffalo, N.Y., Chicago as well as Montreal, Quebec and Hamilton, Ontario in Canada. The tour will extend up until November 25, 2025—and we can hardly contain our excitement!

On his Instagram post announcing this tour, many took to the comments to express their thrill at being able to see the musician on stage once again. “This post made my coffee taste better,” joked one fan. “Okay, Columbus is two hours from me! I’ll do it! I’ll do Chicago as well!,” shared another user. Though most were celebrating, others were sending hopeful messages that he’d visit their cities as well. “Have an amazing time everyone! Shall be living vicariously through you all!,” said one user. “Europe next?,” asked another hopeful fan.

At 83, the thought of McCartney getting on stage night after night is mind boggling, but the Beatle doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon. Back in 2022, in conversation with Esquire, he made it clear that retirement was not on the horizon for him. “Sit at home and watch telly? That’s what people do, man. Gardening, golf… no thanks,” he stated. “Occasionally, I do think, ‘You should have got fed up by now, you should be jaded.’ My manager, who I don’t have any more, glad to say, suggested quite a long time ago that I retire at 50. He sort of said it’s not a good look. I went, ‘Oh, God, he could be right.’ But then I still enjoy writing, I still enjoy singing. What am I gonna do? You see so many people who retire and then immediately expire.”
