Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi Vishwakumar

Born: December 29, 2001, Ontario, Canada
Best known for: My Little Pony: Make Your Mark (2022-2025), Turning Red (2022) and Slanted (2025)
Thoughts on Never Have I Ever: “We pack a punch into a good old half-hour comedy,” she said of Season 3. “It’s very heartwarming. Real things are being spoken about, in a way that it’s natural. It’s organic, it’s relatable. And that’s why many people—not just young South Asian, brown girls—can relate to it.”
Poorna Jagannathan as Nalini Vishwakumar

Born: December 22, 1972, Tunis, Tunisia
Best known for: The Night Of (2016), Big Little Lies (2019) and Ramy (2019)
Thoughts on Never Have I Ever: “To be able to have four seasons of a show where you follow an immigrant family in this multi-generational household and see how nuanced they are, and see how they experience joy and grief just like everyone else, and normalize what that looks like, has been super empowering and important,” Jagannathan said.
Darren Barnet as Paxton Hall-Yoshida

Born: April 27, 1991, Los Angeles, California
Best known for: Love Hard (2021), Anyone But You (2023), Gran Turismo (2023), Road House (2024) and Chicago Med (2024-2025)
Thoughts on Never Have I Ever: “Stop trying to please everyone’s expectations of you,” Barnet said, explaining what the show taught him. “Because all you will do at the end of that is disappoint yourself. And that’s really who it needs to start with, before you start pleasing others. Be true to yourself, do you and love with all you have. Don’t hold back.”
John McEnroe as himself

Born: February 16, 1959, Wiesbaden, Hesse, Germany
Best known for: Considered one of the greatest tennis players of all time. Also known for Mr. Deeds (2002), Anger Management (2003), You Don’t Mess with the Zohan (2008) and Jack and Jill (2011)
Thoughts on Never Have I Ever: “Total coincidence, I ran into [co-creator] Mindy [Kaling] at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and she’s, like, ‘I have this idea for this show I’m doing where you’re going to be the narrator’…” he explained. “I didn’t even really know what that meant or how much it entailed, and so I guess the rest is history, as they say. The next thing you know, I’m doing these voiceovers for the whole series and narrating it.”
Jaren Lewison as Ben Gross

Born: December 9, 2000, Dallas, Texas
Best known for: Barney & Friends (2008-2009), Tag (2018) and 90 Feet From Home (2019)
Thoughts on Never Have I Ever: “Ben’s overall journey is about finding himself and finding who he wants to be,” Lewison shared. “In the fourth season, the theme is preparation for adulthood. He’s figuring out who he wants to surround himself with—the people who will push him outside of his comfort zone to nurture him, help him grow and introduce him to different perspectives.”
Lee Rodriguez as Fabiola Torres

Born: November 28, 1999, Victorville, California
Best known for: Grown-ish (2018), Class of Lies (2018) and The Good Doctor (2023)
Thoughts on Never Have I Ever: “It was pretty crazy [for the show to be an instant hit], she shared. “I thought it was kind of crazy to see our faces on a billboard. I’m not gonna lie, I was pretty tripped out by that. I was, like, ‘Those are my freaking friends.’”
Richa Moorjani as Kamala

Born: May 26, 1989, Alameda, California
Best known for: Fargo (2023-2024) and Alien: Earth (2025)
Thoughts on Never Have I Ever: “I think, just like [Kamala], I have had issues with putting my happiness first because I’m constantly wanting to make everyone around me happy,” Moorjani said. “And I think that’s her biggest character, not flaw, but that’s something that she’s constantly navigating.”
Ramona Young as Eleanor Wong

Born: May 23, 1998, Los Angeles, California
Best known for: Santa Clarita Diet (2017-2019), Blockers (2018), DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (2018-2020)
Thoughts on Never Have I Ever: “I think it’s amazing [working with big comedians],” Young shared. “It’s so much fun. I can’t tell you how many times I’ll hear a quick joke thrown at me by one of the writers or Mindy or Lang, and I can’t say it with a straight face while having to finish the scene. It’s hard, but it’s fun.”
