Where’s ‘The Fosters’ Cast Today? Check In With Maia Mitchell, Teri Polo and Stars of the Hit Series
This ‘Fosters’ star got his major break in the ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’ trilogy!
As a teenager in the foster system, Callie Jacob (Maia Mitchell) isn’t too big on the idea of family. Having been placed into multiple foster homes over the years with her younger brother, Jude, Callie is hardened by her experiences and not so easy to win over. But when she is taken in by foster parents Lena and Stef, she begins to feel at home with her new blended family.
The Fosters premiered on ABC Family in 2013 and continued to air until 2018, though during that time, the channel was rebranded as Freeform. The change was made to better reflect its programming, like The Fosters, and cater to a wider, more diverse audience. The drama series was considered rather controversial for the time due to LGBTQ+ storylines, mature themes and political and social issues that were being explored. However, fans continued to come back for more, season after season, making The Fosters a massive success.
Starring Maia Mitchell, Cierra Ramirez and Noah Centineo, catch up with the cast of the series and see what they’ve been up to since it came to an end nearly 7 years ago!

I just didn’t know how it was going to be embraced. I did the double whammy of joining the Twitter-sphere and now I’m really able to see directly the impact we’ve had. It’s been tremendous.”
