To mark the May 28 holiday, many national chain restaurants and fast-food locations around the country are offering special discounts to customers. From buy-one-get-one deals to a sweepstakes contest, there are plenty of ways to get into the spirit of the day. Keep reading to learn more about some of the best National Hamburger Day deals so you can celebrate—and treat yourself—for less.
BJ’s
Fans of BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse have a couple of options available to mark the occasion. The restaurant is offering a Classic Cheeseburger Pizookie Meal Deal for $13. The meal includes a cheeseburger (topped with tomatoes, lettuce, dill pickles and burger sauce), fries and a personal Pizookie for dessert.
Buying for a group? Consider taking advantage of their Classic Cheeseburger Bundle, which starts at $45. It comes with four cheeseburgers (all with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles), salad and chips or fries.
Buffalo Wild Wings
This chain may be known for its chicken, but burger lovers are in luck today. You can get any burger for half off when ordering takeout or delivery from Buffalo Wild Wings Go when you use the promo code GOBURGER. (Note: The offer is not available for dine-in orders). Choose from options like Mushroom Swiss Burger, Bacon Mac & Cheese Burger, All-American Cheeseburger or Southwestern Black Bean Burger.
Burger King
Rewards members can enjoy a freebie if they head to their local Burger King today. At participating restaurants, eligible customers will be able to get a free hamburger with a $1 purchase when ordering through the app or website. This is a single-use deal that can’t be combined with other offers, isn’t valid for delivery orders and can’t be used in Alaska, Hawaii or the U.S. territories.
Burger King has also been offering deals throughout May in honor of National Hamburger Month. Through the rest of the week, rewards members can still get a free hamburger for 125 crowns (half the typical amount that’s usually required).
Checkers & Rally’s
On May 28, snag The Cheese Double combo with large fries for just $3. The burger includes two beef patties, a slice of American cheese, diced onions, dill pickles, mustard and ketchup—all on a sesame seed bun.
Dairy Queen
Today through June 1, DQ rewards members can get a Signature Stackburger for $0.99 when they buy one at full price. The order just needs to be placed through the app! Choose from their lineup of burgers that include the Dairy Queen’s Backyard Bacon Ranch, FlameThrower, Bacon Cheese Deluxe, Cheese Deluxe and Original Cheeseburger.
Kroger
Looking to cook up your own delicious burgers? Head to any of the stores owned by the Kroger Co. (like Kroger, Fred Meyer, Ralphs) for a special deal. The grocery chain is offering customers a digital coupon to get a six-pack of Private Selection Angus Beef Chuck patties for $6.99. This deal is good until May 31.
Logan’s Roadhouse
Two special deals are on the table for any customers at Logan’s Roadhouse. You can get an All-American Cheeseburger with a salad, side and soft drink or tea for $12.99. The other offer is for the restaurant’s Original Roadies–also with a salad, side and drink. These mini steakhouse burgers (three total) come with American cheese and pickles on the chain’s famous rolls.
Shake Shack
When you spend at least $10 at Shake Shack, you can get a Shackburger for free! The made-to-order quarter pound Angus beef patty in this burger is topped with American cheese, tomato, lettuce and ShackSauce—all on a toasted potato bun. Smashburger
Participating Smashburger locations are celebrating National Hamburger Day with a one-day deal. Try their new Jalapeno BBQ Bacon Stack Smash or classics like the Bacon Stack Smash, All-American Smash or Truffle Mushroom Smash.
Wendy’s
Between May 28-June 1, you can get a burger for a steal when you use the Wendy’s app. The fast-food chain is offering a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger for 1 cent with any purchase.
Wahlburgers
Participating U.S. locations of the casual dining restaurant are allowing customers to get any of the Brothers’ Choice Burgers (O.F.D., BBQ Bacon and Our Burger) for 50% off when ordering online or in the app. Simply use the code HAMBURGERDAY online or in the app. (Note: It’s not valid when using third-party delivery services).
Whataburger
For a fun twist on the holiday, Whataburger is offering rewards members the chance to win a great deal that lasts long after National Hamburger Day is over!
