Spring Events at Magnolia Silos 2026: Free Fun, Classes & Easter Egg Hunts in Waco!
From Easter egg hunts to fairy workshops, Magnolia's spring lineup has something for everyone
Joanna Gaines knows a thing or two about entertaining—and when it comes to her Magnolia Silos, she’s the host with most. The interior designer and television personality rose to fame after she and her husband, Chip, became America’s home renovation sweethearts on their hit HGTV show Fixer Upper. Since then, they’ve built an empire that consists of a houseware and frozen baked goods line sold at Target, various books and most notably, their Magnolia Silos.
A booming travel destination, Chip and Joanna transformed their little corner of Waco, Texas into a one-stop-shop for food, drinks and endless shopping—and this spring, they’ve got a whole list of exciting events you can participate in, and some are even being free! If you live in the area, are planning a trip or will end up passing through en route to your Easter Sunday destination, you’ll want to see what Magnolia’s Spring at the Silos has going on.
Ring in spring at the Silos!
Beginning March 6 and running until April 25, Waco, Texas is the place to be for a full itinerary of fun, springtime activities. The best part? While some of the events offered at the Magnolia Silos are ticketed, many of them are free and perfect for the whole family! Plus, with plenty of food options to pick from as well as live music to set the perfect scene, there’s no better place to be!

Enjoy plenty of free fun in Waco!
While the ticketed classes and workshops appeal to a wide range of interests, when you’ve got kids and a handful of family members tagging along with you, free activities are the way to go. On the first Friday of the month, meaning March 6 and April 3 within Spring at the Silos, enjoy 1st Friday Waco, a community celebration that features live music, food and more!
Consider yourself an animal lover? Then you’ll love the Discovery Table With Cameron Park Zoo event, where folks from the local zoo come out to talk all things animals. And once the weather warms up, there’s nothing better than a free outdoor movie night! On March 20, stop by for a viewing of The Parent Trap under the stars! Finally, enjoy some good old fashioned family fun with the April 4 Easter Egg Hunt.
Classes and workshops allow you to foster creativity this spring
Starting today, the Silos are offering a wide range of workshops and classes that’ll allow you to explore a new interest, work on a new hobby or just enjoy a fun activity with someone you love. On March 10, 13, 14, 17, 20 and 21, get creative with a Garden Fairy House Workshop, where you can put your arts and crafts skills to good use by decorating a quaint little fairy abode to place in your garden, windowsill or wherever you please! Tickets for this workshop are $45.
Want more springtime crafts? Try out the Pressed Floral Art Workshop where you’ll be taught how to properly preserve flowers and incorporate them into your artwork for $50 a person, or opt for something like a Spring Watercolor Workshop costing $65 a person, where you can learn the art and techniques of watercolor painting. A fun way to wind down as the weather warms up!

If art isn’t really your thing, you might be interested in a fun game of Mahjong! Never played before? The Mahjong 101 Class costs $70 but offers three hours of guided play on March 14 and 21, and if you are a seasoned player, enjoy three hours of open play on March 14 and March 21 for just $35.
With so many delightful ways to celebrate spring at Magnolia Silos—from budget-friendly family fun to creative workshops that spark joy—there’s never been a better time to plan your Waco adventure.
