Air-Fryer Honey Mustard Chicken
The easy trick for even crispier skin on this 5-ingredient dinner winner? Simply give the pieces a spritz of cooking spray just before air-frying.

Ingredients
- ½ cup whole-grain Dijon mustard
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder
- 4 lbs. bone-in, skin-on chicken pieces
- Roasted garlic halves, chili peppers and chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- In bowl, mix mustard, honey, cayenne pepper and garlic powder; reserve.
- Heat air fryer to air-fry at 325°F. Coat air fryer basket with cooking spray. Coat chicken pieces with cooking spray. Sprinkle chicken with ½ tsp. salt and ½ tsp. pepper.
- In 2 batches, place chicken in air fryer basket; Place basket in air fryer. Air-fry until golden and chicken is no longer pink near bone, 25-30 min. per batch, brushing with reserved glaze mixture several times during last 10 min. of cooking time. Transfer to serving platter. Garnish as desired.
