Zesty Asparagus Pasta

  • 4 oz. rotini pasta
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 8 oz. asparagus spears trimmed, and cut on an angle into 2" pieces
  • 1 clove garlic chopped
  • 1 tsp. lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese


Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.

Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in skillet over medium heat; add asparagus and garlic. Cook 3–4 min., until tender. Add pasta, remaining oil, and zest; toss until coated. Season to taste with salt and pepper; top with cheese.
