Smoky Ancho Turkey Chili
We livened up classic chili with a few splashes of coffee, beer and just the right amount of fiery ancho chile powder

Ingredients
- 2 Tbs. olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2 poblano peppers
- 4 cups diced roast turkey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 tsp. ground coriander
- 1 tsp. ancho chile powder
- ½ cup brewed coffee
- 1 cup amber beer
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans
Instructions
- In large pot over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Dice onion and peppers. Add to pot with turkey, garlic and spices. Cook 5 min.
- Add coffee, beer, tomatoes and beans to pot. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and let simmer 30 min. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with cranberry salsa, avocado, sour cream and fresh cilantro, if desired.
