Smoky Southwestern Chili
With a hint of sugar, the tomatoes shine bright in this hearty Smoky Southwestern Chili. It would also be perfect atop nachos.

Ingredients
- ½ lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 Tbs. chili powder
- 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz.) can corn, drained
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. sugar
Instructions
- In large skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef and onions until beef is browned, stirring often; drain. In 3½ −4-qt. slow cooker, combine all ingredients.
- Cover; cook on low 5−6 hrs. until mixture is thick and flavorful.
