Lowe’s Is Giving out Free Holiday Mugs This Month—Here’s How You Can Snag One

It’s officially the holiday season, and no one is more ready than Lowe’s. From lights and inflatable to Christmas trees and, of course, their beloved blue buckets, the home-improvement store is going all out this year. What to know about the Lowe’s holiday mug
According to several deal and coupon social media accounts, Lowe’s will be giving out free holiday mugs to MyLowe’s Rewards members at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 13. The blue mug, which boasts a silver handle and is covered in a snowflake pattern, will reportedly be in the shape of the Lowe’s bucket. To get one, all customers have to do is go into a store and find the giveaway booth.

As of publication, Lowe’s has not officially confirmed or denied the existence of these mugs, but several fans on social media claim employees have confirmed it to them individually. There are also reportedly signs advertising the giveaway at many Lowe’s stores nationwide.
What to do with the Lowe’s holiday mug
The money saver behind the social media account Crazy For Couponing says the Lowe’s holiday mug is “perfect for hot cocoa, coffee or adding to your holiday décor.”
But several customers who have already found and purchased the mug in stores say theirs was cracked in the bottom and warn that the mug “won’t hold liquid.”

Along with the mug, Lowe’s has plenty more to offer this holiday season, like a free kids crafting workshop in stores on Saturday, December 20, in-store freebies and limited-time special deals on gifts, decor and more.
The store is also launching a new outfit for the ever-popular Elf on the Shelf children’s doll. “Bringing a toolkit full of joy this year, together The Elf on the Shelf and Lowe’s present a new way to personalize the classic 10-inch Scout Elf boy and girl: an all-new look featuring the iconic Lowe’s Red Vest from the Polar Props collection. But the magic doesn’t stop there—something bigger is on the way later this season,” teases a press release issued by the company.
“Consumers are looking for smaller indulgences this holiday season,” Jen Wilson, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Lowe’s said in a statement. “Many of our most popular holiday items are more impulse-driven, like our 9.75-foot outdoor Bumble [the snow monster from “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer], the latest colorways of our Kobalt Mini Toolboxes and Lowe’s Mini Buckets or even our new Lowe’s ‘fit’ for The Elf on the Shelf. It doesn’t always have to be a total home makeover that brings joy home this holiday.”
