We found slower customer support via phone and email
Calibrate has a customer service and member support team with a toll-free number to answer questions regarding billing, dosage and more. The best way to contact the company is through the Calibrate app, and other than holidays, it says you can expect a response from its support center staff within one to two business days after leaving a voicemail. Calibrate’s medical and support team is also available via email.
While this sounds good on paper, it isn’t as fast as some of its competitors. Calibrate does not appear to have live phone support because when I called, I could never get through to a live person. I called three times during normal business hours and at different times of the day. Every time I called I had to leave a voicemail and Calibrate did not give me the option to wait on hold, at least when I called.
When I tried email support, I messaged Calibrate and heard back in three business days. A representative told me that my insurance would determine the pricing for GLP-1 medication. For other inquiries (medical, insurance, pharmacy, refunds, et c.), Calibrate says you should expect a response within eight to 11 business days. Calibrate also offers an FAQ section with common questions.

The cost depends on the prescription
Calibrate’s subscription service requires a three-month commitment with monthly installments of $199. This does not include the medication cost, but includes video coaching, learning curriculum, and full-service insurance navigation. While Calibrate does not give exact pricing on its weight loss medication options, it will work with your insurance provider to get you the lowest price possible, which it says can be as low as $25 with an insurance copay for qualifying conditions.
When I emailed a Calibrate representative asked about GLP-1 pricing, they responded with:
GLP-1 Pricing is ultimately determined by your insurance plan. Various factors go into approval of these medications and things such as a high deductible on your plan or what pharmacy you choose to fill your GLP-1 Medication at can impact the pricing of these medications. We do supply coupons to our members to help with cost.
GLP-1 weight loss medication can be very expensive. Most other telehealth providers provide upfront pricing for their GLP-1 medication. This can give you a general idea of how much you might pay without insurance. So you’ll have to reach out to Calibrate Health to find exact pricing.
