‘Duck Dynasty’ Is Back! Read All About the Reboot and When You Can See It on Your Screens!
The royal family of duck calls is coming back to our screens!
The Duck Dynasty crew brought us years of laughs, an up-close-and-personal look into the hilarious family dynamics of the Robertson clan and filled our homes with quirky characters we remember to this day. From Willie’s wit to Uncle Si’s antics, at the show’s peak, over 11 million viewers tuned in. Though we said our goodbyes in 2017 after 11 seasons, A&E has delivered as this Louisiana family is set to hit the small screen once again! Here, read everything we know about the all-new Duck Dynasty revival, what it’s going to be about, who you can expect to see and when you can catch it.
What will the ‘Duck Dynasty’ reboot be about?
The original Duck Dynasty was a beloved fixture on television, airing for six years and showcasing the ins and outs of the duck call empire that the Robertsons grew. Not only did we get to enjoy the business aspect of their lives and the unique personalities that made the company what it was, but we also enjoyed getting to know each facet of the Robertson crew, including Willie, his wife Korie and their children, as well as Jase Robertson, the beloved Miss Kay, the ever-iconic Uncle Si and patriarch Phil.
“The updated show will follow Willie and Korie and their growing family of adult children and grandchildren, the next generation of Robertsons living on the family homestead in Louisiana,” said a press release. As the Robertson empire has grown far beyond duck calls, with members of the family pursuing ventures like podcasts and social media, Willie and Korie will learn to navigate a new era for their growing family. “Willie and Korie bring their signature wit and down-home charm while they explore the future of Duck Commander, support their children through marriage, parenthood, and entrepreneurship, and work to keep their legacy alive. However, Willie quickly realizes that this next generation isn’t as Robertson as he originally thought.”

How many episodes will there be?
The new iteration of the series will bring us back to the family the world couldn’t get enough of, but now, at a different stage in life. Duck Dynasty: The Revival was ordered for two seasons—20 one-hour episodes in total. The debut season will run for a total of 10 weeks consecutively.
When can I watch ‘Duck Dynasty: The Revival’?
The Duck Dynasty revival will hit the airwaves on A&E on June 1 at 9 p.m. EST/PST, streaming the next day. “The Robertsons earned a seat in homes across the country with their unique brand of downhome practicality, southern charm and relatable humor,” said Executive Vice President & Head of Programming of A&E and Lifetime, Elaine Frontain Bryant. “Duck Dynasty played a huge part of the success of A&E for many years, and we look forward to reuniting with the Robertsons on the revival.”
And A&E aren’t the only ones excited about the show’s return! “Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home,” said Willie and Korie Robertson. “We’re thankful for all who have followed along as our family has grown and expanded and can’t wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures.”

Who will be returning to the ‘Duck Dynasty’ reboot?
In addition to Willie and Korie leading the way, viewers can expect to see some of their children, John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella and Rebecca, as they forge their own paths and build lives of their own. Additionally, Miss Kay and Uncle Si will also be joining. While A&E has yet to confirm whether or not any of Willie’s brothers and their families—who also played important roles in the original Duck Dynasty—will be returning, fans will just have to stay tuned to find out.

As for patriarch Phil Robertson, who is married to Willie’s mom Miss Kay, his ailing health would be the reason why he likely will not make an appearance in the show. During a recent episode of the Unashamed with the Robertson Family podcast, his son Jase revealed that his father was battling both Alzheimer’s and a blood disease.
What has the ‘Duck Dynasty’ cast said about the reboot?
Since news of the reboot went public, some of the cast, like Willie’s daughter Sadie, have shared a glimpse into what viewers can expect. “It’s wild to think how much has changed, but also how much has stayed the same. New kids, new spouses, new businesses, new fun…ALL the generations and no end to the adventures (and yes, probably some misadventures too)!,” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post. “Our hope is for you to watch again together as a family and pray our show brings families back around the dinner table giving thanks to God and loving one another.”
