Imagine a warm, beach getaway paired with the thrilling excitement of a cruise ship, then combine it with your favorite Hallmark actors and actresses, Christmas festivities and endless amounts of holiday spirit—You’d find yourself on the Hallmark Christmas Cruise! Last year around the holidays, thousands of devoted Hallmark fans boarded a ship alongside loved ones for a voyage from Miami, Florida to Nassau, Bahamas, and while aboard, they were joined by a handful of famous Hallmark faces that took part in endless festivities over the course of the trip. Now, fans can see an up-close-and-personal glimpse at what took place on the Hallmark Christmas Cruise with the premiere of Christmas at Sea, hitting the network on July 7. Here, everything to know about the first season of this exciting series. 

What happens on the  Hallmark Christmas Cruise?

The Hallmark Christmas Cruise combines holiday joy, Hallmark fun, and tropical sunshine all in one place—does it get any better than that? Taking place around the holidays, this themed cruise is handcrafted for the Hallmark fan. Not only are fans joined by some of their favorite stars on the network, but the activities to participate in are endless. Holiday cocktail tastings, fun games, panels with your favorite stars, karaoke, cookie decorating, photo ops and exclusive movie premieres are just a few of the things that have taken place on previous voyages.

What will ‘Christmas at Sea’ be about?

Christmas at Sea documents this Christmas Cruise like never before, and tells the stories of countless voyagers and what their experiences were like. Fans will get to know people on board, such as Rob, who’s planning a surprise proposal for his girlfriend. Other voyagers include two sisters who have a dream of turning their screenplay into a real-life Hallmark flick, and pals like Alicia and Gail break out of their comfort zone.  

“Viewers will meet cruisers with unforgettable stories—a surprise proposal and wedding, lifelong best friends on a long-awaited girls’ trip, a teenage grandson celebrating his 16th birthday with both grandmothers, and more—as they set sail for the ultimate fan adventure,” said a press release.

Who was on the Hallmark Christmas Cruise?

These cruises are known to feature some of Hallmark’s most famous faces, and last year’s event was no different. Hallmark stars including Benjamin Ayres, Jonathan Bennett, Wes Brown, Erin Cahill, Paul Campbell, Taylor Cole, Nikki DeLoach, Sarah Drew, Tyler Hynes, Kimberley Sustad, and Andrew Walker all took part, and their interactions with fans were personal, meaningful and a true testament to the Hallmark way.

How can I go on the next Hallmark Christmas Cruise?

The 2025 Hallmark Cruise is taking place between November 6 and November 10, sailing from Miami, Florida to Cozumel, Mexico. The talent joining this cruise has yet to be announced, but fans can assume that they’ll be sailing alongside some of their favorites. At this point in time, the ship is full; however, the cruise offers something called the First Available Program.
