What to know about Crumbl’s free cookie day
On Thursday, November 6, Crumbl Cookies is giving away a free thin chocolate chip cookie, which is one of the brand’s newest menu items made by none other than Martha Stewart and her daughter Alexis.
“Life is heavy for a lot of people right now, even here at Crumbl,” Crumbl Co-Founder and CEO Jason McGowan said in a statement. “Burdens can weigh more than most realize, and sometimes even a small act of kindness can make the day feel a little lighter.”
“We know a cookie doesn’t fix everything,” McGowan continued. “For some, it may not fix anything. But our hope is everyone will feel seen and loved for just a moment. I’m so proud of our franchise partners and bakers for helping make this small act of kindness possible for our Crumbl customers.”
Along with the free cookie, McGowan also announced that he and his wife, Whitney, were creating a new foundation dedicated to helping eliminate school lunch debt for children. They have donated $1 million in personal money to the fund, and that number is expected to increase over the next couple of weeks.
“We hope this inspires others who are able to contribute their time and resources to help those in need,” McGowan said.

To get a free Crumbl cookie today, all you have to do is walk into a store and ask for one. Then, a worker will give you a Chocolate Chip Cookie Thins, and voila, you have a free sweet treat! The brand is only giving away one cookie per customer while supplies last, so if you want to get in on this deal, it’s best to do so sooner rather than later.
What else is going on at Crumbl this week
Crumbl’s free cookie day is happening during the same week as their collaboration with Martha. Along with the Chocolate Chip Cookie Thins, the celebrity chef also created a Mile High Lemon Pie, a Chocolate Tart Cookie, a Classic Fudge Brownie, a Coconut Layer Cake, a New York Cheesecake and a Pumpkin Sheet Cake for both the Crumbl workers and customers to enjoy.
“The collab of our dessert-loving dreams is here!” Crumbl wrote on social media earlier this week. “The Queen of Entertaining has teamed up with @crumbl to release a limited-edition line of treats, inspired by Martha’s classic recipes.”
Along with the cookies, Crumbl also changed its logos and packages to a light yellow color in honor of Stewart. The collab will go until November 8 and the desserts can be bought either in a box or individually.
