The fast-food chain made 11 secret menu items official, but they're not available everywhere
Calling all fast food lovers! McDonald’s just announced their secret menu—and the items on it are guaranteed to have you begging for a taste! To learn what’s on the menu, how long the items are expected to remain available and where you can get them, keep scrolling!
A look at McDonald’s secret menu 2026
McDonald’s recently announced that their secret menu was not going to be a secret for much longer. They also shared which items were going to be available starting January 5, 2026. The highlights included:
- Surf N’ Turf
- Chicken Cheeseburger
- Chicken Big Mac
- Espresso Milkshake
- Apple Pie Mini McFlurry
- Big Mac® Sauce
And there are a few more menu items available in addition to the secret menu items above:
- Big Arch®, a hamburger with white cheddar cheese slices, crispy slivered onions, lettuce, pickles and Big Arch sauce
- The Fajita Chicken One, with fajita sauce, tomato salsa, onions, cheese and lettuce
- Galaxy Smooth Caramel McFlurry—soft serve ice cream mixed with Galaxy Chocolate drops and Galaxy Caramel sauce
- Chili Cheese Bites
Before you get too excited, we should note that these items aren’t available in the states just yet. Ben Fox, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of McDonald’s UK & Ireland, said in a statement, “We’re really happy to now make The Secret Menu official in the UK&I [Ireland], turning fan-favourite hacks into reality.”
“Some of these mash ups shouldn’t work, but they are weirdly good and need to be tried to be believed. Others are more natural combinations that are simply delicious,” he continued. “This limited-time lineup celebrates the creativity of our customers that we see every day on social media.”
Will the McDonald’s secret menu come to the United States?
As of publication, there is no news on whether the 2026 McDonald’s secret menu will be available stateside. But there are a few exciting things coming our way!
According to The Street, McDonald’s is releasing a Pokémon-themed Happy Meal to celebrate the game’s 30th birthday in February of 2026.
“There’s nothing more exciting than when we can bring campaigns to our fans with partners that we’re fans of ourselves,” Guillaume Huin, senior marketing director at McDonald’s said in a statement last January, when the fast-food giant first teamed with the Pokémon. “Much like they do for McDonald’s, our fans have deep nostalgia and love for the Pokémon brand. We’re thrilled to build on those great memories and create a new moment of fun and happiness with the new Pokémon Happy Meal.”
