Lauren Penzi, MD

Lauren Penzi, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Penzi attended New York Medical College, where she was admitted to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society for graduating in the top 10% of her medical school class. She completed her intern year at NYU Winthrop Hospital and went on to complete her dermatology residency training at the renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Penzi also spent a year at Harvard Dermatology for a hair loss fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Penzi has been published in some of the top dermatology journals including JAMA Dermatology, as well as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. She continues to stay at the forefront of dermatologic education and research in order to provide the best care to her patients. Dr. Penzi prioritizes preventative measures to combat both skin cancer and aging. Dr. Penzi treats patients of all ages and has a special interest in acne, rosacea, skin cancer, eczema, psoriasis, and hair loss. She believes in a personalized, comprehensive, and natural approach to cosmetic dermatology.
