Leena Palomo, DDS, MSD, is a Board Certified Periodontist and tenured professor and chair of the Ashman Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at NYU. She serves her profession as Director of the American Board of Periodontology and chair of the American Academy of Periodontology Task Force on DDS Education. Her current scholarly focus is on developing periodontology and implant dentistry in the overall wellness and quality of life. Her passion is advocating for her specialty by delivering related messaging to lay and mass audiences. Dr. Palomo maintains a private practice and enjoys being a wife, mom, daughter and friend.
