Feel Good Foodie’s Best-Ever Air Fried Chicken Wings

Crispy outside and oh-so tender on the inside

Comments

Yumna Jawad—known for creating the popular website Feel Good Foodie really knows how to make the Best-Ever Air Fryer Chicken Wings. With more than 9 million followers on social media, Feel Good Foodie knows her way around the kitchen. Yumna created the site  as a way to share healthy eating tips and tricks. Yumna’s low-carb, gluten-free take on a bar menu classic starts with a fraction of the oil needed for frying and a few simple spices.

She also suggests that you don’t over-crowd the basket when making Feel Good Foodie’s Best-Ever Air Fryer Chicken Wings. “Line up the chicken wings standing upright along the sides of the air fryer. It won’t affect how they’re cooked and allows you to fit more in at once”, Yumna shares. Now that you’ve mastered wings, try pairing them with an easy side, like our “baked” potatoes.

Heat air fryer to 380°F. When heated, spray basket with olive oil cooking spray.

Pat chicken wing pieces dry. Transfer them to large bowl. Toss wings with olive oil, paprika and garlic powder, then season with salt and pepper.

Place chicken wings in air fryer so they are not touching (you may have to cook them in batches). Air-fry for 10 min., then increase temperature to 400°F, and cook until crisp and golden, about 6–8 min. more.

Garnish chicken wings with parsley and serve with ranch dressing on the side, if desired.
