The chef's merry tipple uses cranberry juice, Tom Collins mix and rum

There’s nothing more festive than a bright red Christmas cocktail! And Sandra Lee’s Cranberry Kiss recipe surely fills the bill. Sandra Lee, beloved celebrity chef and host of Blue Ribbon Baking Championship is no stranger to crowd-pleasing drinks. And her merry tipple that starts with just 3 ingredients will get everyone in the holiday spirit. Lee cleverly spikes an equal amount of cranberry juice cocktail and Tom Collins mix—a sweet ’n’ sour take on lemonade—with spiced rum.

Lee’s special sips are made even more cheery with an easy-do sugared rim and garnished with a jolly trio of lime, herbs and cranberries. As much as I love cranberries, the winter is prime pomegranate season. So I would recommend you also try this easy variation on Sandra Lee’s Cranberry Kiss recipe: Swap in 8 oz. pomegranate juice for the cranberry juice cocktail and continue with the recipe as directed. Garnish with lime wheels and fresh pomegranate arils.
