Meghan and Harry Share a New Baby Photo with Sweet Tribute to Diana
New parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave us another glimpse at their son, Archie, while celebrating Mother’s Day over the weekend. The photo of the youngest royal’s tiny toes included a touching message to moms: “We honor and celebrate each and every one of you.”
The picture also featured a sweet tribute to Harry’s mom, Princess Diana.
The adorable photo shows Meghan and Archie posing in front of forget-me-not blooms — which were famously known as Princess Diana’s favorite flower. On top of mentioning moms who are “lost but forever remembered,” the couple clearly showed how Diana was still in their hearts as they celebrated the holiday with their little one.
Meghan and Harry welcomed their royal baby into the world on May 6, 2019. That morning, we got to see the little bundle of joy in the first family photos. A few days after that, the royal couple took to Instagram for the big name reveal: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor!
Sussex Royal posted a beautiful black-and-white photo of the moment Archie was introduced to the Queen, with The Duke of Edinburgh and Meghan’s mom there as well. How special is that? We love these photos, as well as the ones taken earlier in at St. George’s Hall in Windsor Castle. Such proud parents!

Of being a new mom, Meghan gushed, “It’s magic. It’s pretty amazing. I have the best two guys in the world, so I’m really happy.” Meanwhile, Harry said, “Parenting is amazing. It’s only been two and a half days, but we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy.” Just look at their beaming faces!
Harry and Meghan’s birth announcement was quite different from Kate and William’s, and with Harry holding the baby, it seems their first photo is as well. We have to say, we love seeing the precious child in Dad’s arms. The prince has been famously supportive of his wife over the years, and it’s a wonderful sign of an equal partnership that he’s — quite literally — giving her a helping hand. And, what a gentle helping hand it is!

Eagle-eyed royal fans also have noticed that Meghan is having a subtle fashion twinning moment with late mother-in-law Princess Diana. As you may recall, Princess Diana wore a white button up tuxedo-style midi dress back in 1987 that was quite similar to Meghan’s style choice today. If you ask us, this makes the baby announcement even more heartwarming!
