After getting his eye on a toy, a six-year-old from St. Louis, MO, requested a $20 advance on his allowance. But things didn't go exactly as planned.
It seems the little guy will not be visiting Toys"R"Us anytime soon after receiving an official-sounding letter from the Bank of DAD, whose slogan is: "Savings and loan: Because apparently I look like I'm made of money."
After receiving his son's request the boy's witty dad wrote him the funniest response letter, one that just happened to double as a way to teach his son about money management. The letter was shared on Imgur and has been viewed nearly 4 million times.
The hilarious letter, formatted like one from an actual bank, included a polite rejection to the child's request and called the little guy out for not doing his chores. A small reminder of the recent Christmas expenses even made it into the letter.
Read the letter for yourself to see who the little guy has to call to maybe change a few minds.
Better get started on those chores little guy--Toys"R"Us awaits!
