“We built Free Rein to fuel the people who make this country run: ranchers, tradespeople, veterans, military, first responders, nurses, teachers and parents,” Hauser tells Woman’s World. “Free Rein has never really been about me. It’s about the people we built it for. For the folks who get up before the sun, put in the work day in and out, serve their communities, coach Little League after work or just quietly do what needs to get done every day. Those are the people who inspired this product and we should showcase how Free Rein helps them do that. ”

Cole Hauser reveals what made him launch a protein line

As high-protein products continue to grow in popularity, Free Rein Coffee has expanded its lineup with new protein coffee and cold brew offerings. Cole Hauser says the launch is a testament to the work of the Free Rein team, which focused on creating products that deliver more protein without sacrificing the flavor and quality customers have come to expect from the brand.

“I’m pretty old school with my coffee (American Dirt or Texas Pecan…black) but my team has been telling me that our customers were always asking when we were going to launch cold brew and protein coffee,” he says. “This product is really an extension of that mindset. It’s about giving people better fuel without asking them to change their routine. Great coffee, added protein, no extra steps.”

“I give my team a lot of credit, they really pushed this forward. My thing has always been, don’t do it because it’s easy. Do it because it’s right for the people who drink our coffee. We spent the time making sure it actually tasted like great coffee first,” he continues. “If we were going to put the Free Rein name on it, it had to be something we’d be proud to drink ourselves.”
