Liv Tyler
Of all of Steven Tyler’s kids, Liv Tyler is perhaps his most famous, known for her illustrious career on the big screen. The 48-year-old actress, daughter to Tyler and former model and singer Bebe Buell, has shined in films like Armageddon (1988), Stealing Beauty (1996), Empire Records (1995) and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. On the small screen, you may have caught her in shows like 9-1-1: Lone Star, Harlots or The Leftovers.
Liv didn’t know the identity of her biological father until she was about 11 years old, but the gears started turning in her mind years before that. Though Liv was led to believe her dad was Todd Rundgren, lead singer of Utopia, who her mother was with at the time, when she met Steven at one of his concerts, she felt an instant connection and also noticed their resemblance. After discovering the truth, the two formed a close bond and have remained linked to one another ever since.
Mia Tyler
Tyler’s second daughter, Mia, is a 46-year-old actress, model and entrepreneur who he had with Cyrinda Foxe, a model and actress who he was married to throughout the 80s. Over the years, Mia has dipped her toes in several industries including modeling, acting and the fashion world, but now, she’s enjoying life as a mom to her son who she welcomed in 2017. Fun fact: Liv Tyler also noticed a resemblance between herself and Mia when she first met Steven Tyler, further prompting her to question who her father was.
Chelsea Tyler
Thirty-six-year-old Chelsea Tyler, the Aerosmith frontman’s youngest daughter, has followed in her father’s footsteps in pursuing a career in music, forming the duo KANEHOLLER with her husband Jon Foster. Chelsea, who has also done some modeling, spoke of her dad’s influence back in 2017. “My dad has always been so supportive, and he always pulled me into whatever he was doing when I was little,” she told Refinery29. “I’m so grateful for that. If I was at a photoshoot with my mom or something, and I was standing on the side, he’d always pull me in.”
Taj Tallarico
Of all of Steven Tyler’s kids, youngest Taj, 34, has stayed almost entirely out of the limelight with a few exceptions. The son of Tyler and Teresa Barrick, Taj also accompanied his sister Chelsea as part of their road crew on her tour back in 2015. Not much is known about his day to day life, but his Facebook revealed that he got married in 2018.
